Diego de Landa had various haircuts during his career. He reached fame as a great conquistador, chronicler, mayanist, friar and priest. However, the Spanish Bishop of Yucatán (1524–1579) was mainly known for his unusual sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic death at the age of 55 he was again and again featured in magazines and tabloids because of his superb hair and looks.
